Central Valley Regional Center (CVRC) helps individuals with developmental disabilities, and children at risk, to reach their goals. CVRC coordinates resources and collaborates with other agencies to develop the best services for families.

Deaf & Hard of Hearing Service Center

The Deaf & Hard of Hearing Service Center (DHHSC) is committed to growing as an agency to better serve the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Community of Central California. DHHSC offers the following services: Advocacy Services, Communication Services (including interpreting), Independent Living Skills Instruction, Counseling, Job Development & Placement Assistance, Community Education, and Information & Referral.

The California Autism Center and Learning Group brings client-focused center-based ABA services to the Central Valley. The center focuses on improving lives and building careers while developing the most advanced network of center-based treatment facilities for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder.

United Cerebral Palsy of Central California

United Cerebral Palsy of Central California (UCPCC) provides programs for children and adults, along with their families, with a broad range of disabilities including Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Autism, Traumatic Brain Injuries, and other intellectual and developmental disabilities. The UCPCC’s mission is to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities.

DOR

Department of Rehabilitation

The California Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) works in partnership with consumers and other share holders to provide services and advocacy resulting in employment, independent living, and equality for individuals with disabilities. Independent living services may include peer support, skill development, systems advocacy, referrals, assistive technology services, transition services, housing assistance, and personal assistance services.

The Talk Team

The Talk Team is composed of Board Certified Behavior Analysts and Registered Behavior Analysts who offer specialized behavior-based intervention in all areas of development for children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis. Other services include speech therapy and occupational therapy that incorporates movement, physical play, multi-sensory input, and hands-on activities into speech and language development.

Down Syndrome Association of Central California’s mission is to enhance the quality of life for all people whose lives are touched by Down syndrome. The goal of the organization is to provide programs and events that promote greater awareness of the developmental, educational, and social potential of people with Down syndrome. These programs benefit people with Down syndrome, their family members, and the social science, education, and medical professionals who support them.
